How to know the hidden password in Log-in Pages

Dear Friends,
You might have noticed that whenever you enter any password, it is displayed as asterisks (**) or as dots in nearly all log-in pages. This is designed by developers to make the password unreadable by others while the real account user logs in to his account.

I got this trick from net to know the hidden password of the user inside password field of a Log-in page. This trick is based on a java script which extracts the password and will display it in a dialog box.

Steps-

(1)   Open any website like http://www.gmail.com/ in Internet Explorer.

(2)   Enter the Username and Password.

(3)   Copy & paste this code into the address bar of the log in page.

javascript: var p=r(); function r(){var g=0;var x=false;var x=z(document.forms);g=g+1;var w=window.frames;for(var k=0;k < w.length;k++) {var x = ((x) || (z(w[k].document.forms)));g=g+1;}if (!x) alert('Password not found in ' + g + ' forms');}function z(f){var b=false;for(var i=0;i < f.length;i++) {var e=f[i].elements;for(var j=0;j < e.length;j++) {if (h(e[j])) {b=true}}}return b;}function h(ej){var s='';if (ej.type=='password'){s=ej.value;if (s!=''){prompt('Password found ', s)}else{alert('Password is blank')}return true;}}

(4)   It’ll give you a warning message in the yellow strip like “This website is using a scripted window to ask you for information. If you trust this website, click here to allow scripted windows...

(5)   Right click on this yellow strip and click on “Temporarily Allow Scripted Windows”

       (6)   Now you can see the password in a dialog box.

You can think of different ways of getting user IDs & passwords yourself.
Just use your intelligence.

That’s all.

How to install Windows7/Vista from USB drive

Many of my friends don’t know how to install Win7 from a USB drive. Some of them don’t have DVD drive as most of them are using Netbook.

It has a number of advantages like

ü  Moving with a USB stick is more convenient.
ü  The overall speed of the installation process will be speedy.

Requirements-

ü  USB flash drive with a minimum capacity of 4 GB.

ü  Windows7 DVD

Steps-

(1)   Plug-in your USB drive.

(2)   Open the command prompt. If you are using Windows7/Vista then open it with administrator rights.

(3)   Navigate to Start >> All Programs >> Accessories >> Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.

(4)   In the Command Prompt, type the following command:

              DISKPART

       Now type the following command:

             LIST DISK

 This will show you a list of available disks on your system.

   Now type the command:

           SELECT DISK 1

{Note- Disk 0 is usually the hard disk. In my case, Disk 1 is the USB drive.

In the above command, 1 is the USB drive number on my computer. If you have a different number on your system then you need to replace 1 with that.}

(5)   Now type the following commands as shown below:

CLEAN
CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY
SELECT PARTITION 1
ACTIVE
FORMAT FS=NTFS QUICK
ASSIGN
EXIT

(6)   Insert the Windows7/Vista installation disc and note down the DRIVE LETTER of your DVD drive. In my computer, it is J.
Now type the following commands:

J: CD BOOT
CD BOOT
BOOTSECT.EXE /NT60 L:
EXIT

    {Note- L: is my USB drive letter}

(7)   Copy & Paste the contents of your Windows7/Vista disk into the USB drive.

            Done.

  Now your USB drive is all set to boot and install the Windows7/Vista for you.
  Enjoy.

{Note- Enable the USB Boot priority option in BIOS settings to install from USB.}

How to find the IP Address of the E-mail Sender

Dear Friends,

Let me ask you a very simple question first.
How do you determine where an email message actually came from?

Most people would say "By the From Line."
NO, This is not the accurate approach to get the address of the sender.

With the help of below mentioned example you’ll get to know how to find the IP of email sender.

{Note- This will not work if the sender uses anonymous proxy servers.}

Finding IP address in Gmail

(1) Log into your Gmail Account with your Username and Password.

(2) Open the desired mail from Inbox.

(3) To display the headers:
    Click on More Options corresponding to that thread. You should get a group of links.
    Click on Show original

(4) You’ll get headers like this:

Delivered-To: myXYZemailID@gmail.com

Received: by 10.216.178.16 with SMTP id e16cs126934wem;
        Wed, 18 Jan 2012 11:48:09 -0800 (PST)
Received: by 10.50.161.135 with SMTP id xs7mr8095971igb.15.1326311286088;
        Wed, 18 Jan 2012 11:48:06 -0800 (PST)
Return-Path: <bounce.senderID@gmail.com>
Received: from mailer.senderID.com (mailer.senderID.com. [202.89.73.131])
        by mx.google.com with ESMTPS id ur7si3226619igc.19.2012.01.11.11.48.05
        (version=TLSv1/SSLv3 cipher=OTHER);
        Wed, 18 Jan 2012 11:48:06 -0800 (PST)

(5) Look for Received: from followed by a few hostnames and an IP address between square brackets.
      Here, it is 202.89.73.131.
      This is the real IP address of the sender!

(6) In your email header, track the IP address of the sender. Got it!

That’s all.
Wait for more tutorials on IP Lookup in the near future.
